Have a magnificent queen size Prairie head and footboard in oak. One thing to keep in mind with Onondaga and likely most finishes with some color, is that direct sunlight will bleach out some of the color. I believe it’s in the dye used as part of the finishing process. Ironically it proves this is quality furniture, made using craftsman woodworker techniques as opposed to mass production.

Our Harvey Ellis table and chairs are this finish and we love it. So much so that we just ordered four more chairs with inlay. With leaves, the table will seat ten. Beautiful.
