Rich History
For more than 120 years, Stickley has stood for unparalleled American craft. And our story began with three words: “Als Ik Kan”—to the best of my ability.
With our vast knowledge of interior design and appreciation of craft, Stickley is uniquely qualified to bring you designer rugs of the finest quality and artistry, inspired by traditional, Arts and Crafts, and contemporary style. We source the world’s best wool and silk, work directly with the most skilled weavers, and carefully select designs and colors that best complement today’s interiors, particularly our Arts and Crafts collections. Our goal is that, like our furniture, Stickley hand-crafted, luxury rugs become family heirlooms that generations will enjoy.
With nods to William Morris, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and Frank Lloyd Wright, these rugs draw inspiration from some of the most influential designers of the Arts and Crafts and Prairie Schools.
Our newest rugs feature abstract contemporary designs and a durable new construction. A blend of Himalayan wool and silk creates a lush, all-natural pile that holds up beautifully to everyday wear.
Our classic Persian and Indian carpet styles reflect the long, rich history of rug-making and employ time-honored techniques that make the rugs works of art. Each is painstakingly hand-knotted by the most skilled experts in India and Nepal.
