The beautiful Harvey Ellis Oval Tray captures many of the qualities that make Mission design so desirable while adding an elegant curved shape. Made of quartersawn white oak in our Onondaga finish, its centerpiece is a superbly crafted Harvey Ellis inlay in decorative veneers of maple, pear, walnut, and ebony. Flowing handles rise at each end, and the underside bears our stamped Stickley shop mark as a sign of quality. This stunning tray is a perfect gift for anyone who loves to entertain and is an especially thoughtful host/hostess gift.

For the price , surprised to see veneers being used

The decorative veneers used by Stickley and other fine furniture makers bear no resemblance to the paper-like veneers used in cheap, mass-produced furniture. High-quality wood veneers are necessary for hand-crafting the beautiful inlay patterns that Stickley is famous for, including the inlay on the Harvey Ellis Oval Tray.
