Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients

- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 Tbsp desired flavored extract (e.g. almond, vanilla, coffee, orange)

Optional ingredients for coating

- Cocoa
- Powdered sugar
- Chopped nuts

 

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate in a pot on the stovetop. Add cream and flavored extract of choice. Stir to incorporate. Let cool, then transfer to the refrigerator.
  2. When chilled, spoon and shape chocolate into one-inch balls.
  3. Roll each ball in desired coating. Place on waxed paper.
