“The first piece of furniture my husband, Alfred, and I received was a wedding gift from Leopold Stickley’s widow, Louise. We never imagined that ten years later we would become the proud (and anxious!) owners of the then-struggling L. & J.G. Stickley…”
Stickley: Celebrating 120 Years of American Craftsmanship
The Stickley Ethos
Enduring tradition, superior craftsmanship, and an unshakeable philosophy of excellence are the values that allow Stickley to produce America’s premium hardwood furniture and fine upholstery. Each piece is made with honor, integrity, and pride.
Founded in 2007, The Stickley Museum explores the inspiration and craftsmanship that made Stickley America’s foremost fine furniture maker. An 8,000 square-foot exhibit gallery contains furniture and accessories from the earliest days of Stickley up to the present, as well as a variety of images and archival documents illustrating the company’s journey.
